Suffolk County All-Stars 2012
All Star games are designed as an opportunity to show off what great players have done all year long. But sometimes, it gives those players a grand stage to show off something special, something they’ve never done before. Like Steve Longo, of Bayport-Blue Point, who hit the first inside-the-park home run of his career at the RTC Challenge Game.
Long Island’s All-Star Baseball Game, was held at SUNY Farmingdale Baseball Stadium on Friday June 8th at 7:00PM. The Rawlings RTC Grand Slam Challenge showcased some of the best Senior baseball players from Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Nassau County won the nine-inning game by the score of 4-2.
