Game 1 - Makos 7 – Sand Sharks 3
The Sand Sharks got out to an early lead, in part, due to a Cameron Shaw (Brandeis) solo home run. However, the Makos scored multiple runs in three consecutive innings and came away with the win. Alex Perry (Sacred Heart) hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning that sealed the victory. Seven different Makos scored and all but one had at least one hit. Vinny Prisco (Marywood) had three hits, and David Hawley (Nassau) and Justin Ganca (Hartford) each had two.

Game 2 - Makos 7 – Sand Sharks 5
The Makos scored first and never relinquished their lead. Louis Mele (NYIT) hit a two-run home run to deep center, and Albert Estwick hit a three-run shot to left, who also scored twice. Justin Ganca (Hartford) added one hit and one RBI. Starter Charles Basedow pitched 5 1/3 innings and struck out five. The Sand Sharks attempted a comeback, scoring three runs in the seventh, but in the end fell short.
