Hurricanes 6 - Red Birds 5
The Hurricanes' late rally was too much for the Red Birds to withstand. Brian Murphy (Molloy) and Tommy Ziegen (Old Westbury) lead the eighth inning charge, both driving in big runs that contributed to the five run inning and a victory. Anthony Galanoudis (Molloy) also had a big day for the Hurricanes, being a big contributor in their win. Galanoudis helped get things started in the eighth where he drove in a run and later scored in the inning. On the mound for the Hurricanes, Kyle Krebs (New Paltz) was dominant. Krebs threw two perfect innings, locking the game down for his team. James Scagnelli (Old Westbury), despite his team losing, provided the Red Birds with outstanding starting pitching, but the bullpen let the game slip away. He tossed six innings of one run baseball and allowed only five hits.

Winning Pitcher - Hurricanes - Kyle Krebs (2-2)
Losing Pitcher - Red Birds - Kevin Martinez (1-1)
