Atlantics 4 - Tribe 2

Nick Calamia (St. Joe's) lead the Atlantics to victory with complete dominance on the mound. Calamia surrendered just two runs in his complete game, five strikeout outing. The Atlantics played an all-around solid game, including tight defense, reliable starting pitching, and clutch hitting. As for the Atlantics' bat, Giovanni Dingcong (St. Thomas Aquinas) tallied two hits, drove in a run, and also stole a base. Jack Zagaja (New Haven), despite losing, had a solid game where he hit a towering homerun to left field, but it wasn't enough to earn his team a victory.

Winning Pitcher - Atlantics - Nick Calamia (2-2)
Losing Pitcher - Tribe - Will Hickey (1-3)

Atlantics 6 - Tribe 5
The Atlantics swept the doubleheader after taking an extra-inning thriller 6-5 over the Tribe. Joe Schultheis (Felician) was a work horse for the Atlantics, tossing a complete game (eight innings). He also struck out ten Tribe hitters on his way to earning a win. The long-ball was also a big factor for the Atlantics, who hit two. Vinny Orlando (Dowling) and Giovanni Dingcong (St. Thomas Aquinas) both went yard, leading the Atlantics' offense. Chris Hardardt (Hofstra) was the hero for the Atlantics after he picked up the game winning, two-RBI single in the bottom of the eighth. Ken Daley (LIU Post) had an awesome game for the Tribe where he picked up two hits, drove in a run, and stole a base as well.

Winning Pitcher - Atlantics - Joe Schultheis (1-0)
Losing Pitcher - Tribe - Michael Fuchs (1-1)
